Dr. Michael Archer, M.D., attended medical school at the University of South  Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated with a medical degree in 1980, and was the recipient of several awards including outstanding medical student award. Dr. Archer then completed a comprehensive surgical residency at the South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Al, followed by a plastic surgery residency  at the Akron City Hospital and Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio. He is married to Cynthia and has two children, Michael and Ashley.

Dr. Archer opened his plastic surgery practice in 1987 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. His clinical interests are in the areas of cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contouring and cosmetic surgery of the face.

                                                                                                                                                                               Because of his interest in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Archer is called upon frequently to speak on the topic, and he enjoys the exchange of ideas concerning technique and new procedures.

 Dr. Archer is a published author and has been invited to lecture on many subjects both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Archer is on active staff at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and Emerald Coast Surgery Center in Fort Walton Beach.
